The Training Centre will serve as a resource hub and skills development area for apprentices and new starters, as well as offering employees the ability to become multi-skilled through further training. The new centre will also be available for customers to utilise, offering a dedicated area to train AWS workforce on the introduction of new products, manufacturing and test procedures.
Dave Elms, Group Business Improvement Director, comments, “The new facility will provide the very best tools for surface mount and through-hole assembly, rework and wiring, and will offer training programmes to IPC 610, 620, 7711/7721 and J-Std.
