AWS Electronics is a long established full turnkey solutions company, operating from two facilities in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stone, conveniently located in central UK.
Founded in 1974, the Company has specialist capabilities, encompassing full procurement, assembly, test, delivery logistics and after sales services. AWS specialises in manufacturing services for a range of different industries requiring high quality, flexibility and expertise in the assembly of PCB's, Cables, Sub-assemblies or complete equipment build. The management and staff are committed to a quality and a continuous improvement culture and are proud of their accreditations and certifications, including AS/EN-9100, ISO 9001(2000) and IS 14001.
The application of Lean manufacturing and change management contributes to service and quality. AWS Electronics can be relied upon to deliver to specification, on-time and within budget.
AWS has won awards for manufacturing excellence and supplier quality performance from a number of it's customers across a range of sectors. These have most recently included the first company to be awarded Silver accreditation for our performance across a range of measures including quality, delivery, continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence, sponsored by General Dynamics and seconded by Augusta Westland. (SC21 - Supply Chain 21st Century co-ordinated by SBAC on behalf of prime and leading tier 1 Aerospace and Defence manufacturers). In addition we have also received manufacturing excellence awards in the medical sector from Siemens DPC for our performance to both European and North American facilities.
